I’ve worked with and counseled pre-teens and teenagers who have experienced extreme trauma, ones that have been through DCF and who lived in different residential facilities. I do have experience counseling teens that have been diagnosed with ODD, ASD, ADHD, anxiety or ones that’s had difficulties with self-esteem/self-image, learning life skills and goals, and figuring out what their triggers are. 

I truly believe that working with children and adolescents while they’re still young can help them build the skills they need to make progress in their current environment while also preparing themselves to feel supported as they continue to grow into who they are. I look forward to hearing what someone needs to feel supported and what plan we can come up with together in order to make sure it’s done in a safe and comfortable environment.
