Hello and welcome! I'm Dr. Niekema Hudson a Licensed School Psychologist and Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI). At ABC Counseling, LLC, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and individualized mental health support to clients navigating life's challenges. With a background rooted in evidence-based practices, I specialize in working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship concerns.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and person-centered, drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I believe in meeting clients where they are and tailoring our sessions to align with their unique goals and values.
Creating a safe and non-judgmental space is paramount in my practice. Whether you're seeking support for the first time or returning to therapy, I strive to foster an environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.
I am committed to ongoing professional development to ensure that I provide the most effective and current therapeutic interventions. While I can’t guarantee that all the challenges that brought you to therapy will be resolved, I can promise to be here with you—to offer support, do my best to understand you, and help you understand yourself. Together, we will work to identify patterns, clarify your goals, and move toward them with intention.
