Annie Miller brings over 23 years of experience in education, with a strong foundation in building meaningful relationships with students, families, and school staff. Annie specializes in working with children, adolescents and families. Currently serving as a school counselor, she works closely with children in a school setting, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development while collaborating with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Annie is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with a deep commitment to supporting mental health and well-being. Her professional approach is shaped not only by her extensive experience in education but also by her personal journey as a mother of an adult child with ADHD and anxiety, as well as her own experiences navigating anxiety and engaging in counseling. These perspectives enhance her empathy, insight, and ability to connect authentically with others.
She is known for being compassionate, empathetic, and genuinely caring, creating a safe and supportive environment for those she serves. Additionally, Annie is a trained Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) trainer, equipping her with skills to effectively de-escalate challenging situations and promote safety.
Annie is passionate about continuing to grow in the mental health counseling field and is dedicated to helping individuals build resilience, develop coping strategies, and reach their full potential.

Annie earned her Education Specialist (Ed.S) in School Counseling and holds a Ed.S. degree in Education, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
