Amy Maxwell

Registered Intern

I am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients (both adults and children) can explore their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and personal goals. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy allowing me to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns while also honoring their individual experiences, strengths, and capacity for growth.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on empathy, trust, and genuine connection. I work alongside clients to develop practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, build confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to meet each person where they are and support them as they move toward greater emotional well-being and a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

It takes courage to ask for support, and you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I’m honored to walk alongside you in that process.
