Amy Okrasinski

Registered Intern

She is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern who is committed to providing a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients of all ages can feel heard, understood, and empowered. She works with both children and adults, supporting clients as they navigate emotional challenges, relationships, life transitions, and personal growth.

Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy. Through CBT, she helps clients recognize and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier ways of coping. Her Person-Centered approach emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and respect for each client’s unique experiences, strengths, values, and goals.

She views counseling as a collaborative process in which the therapeutic relationship provides a foundation for meaningful growth and change. She works alongside each client to develop practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, strengthen confidence, and build greater emotional well-being. Her goal is to meet clients where they are while providing guidance and support as they work toward a more fulfilling and authentic life.

Seeking counseling is an important step, and she believes that no one should have to navigate life’s challenges alone. She is honored to partner with clients on their journey toward healing, growth, and positive change.
